One Fabulous Evening!

Last night I attended one of the most amazing bridal events of the year. Leslie Jones Wedding Studio for Birnbaum & Bullock, in association with hctBRIDE, hosted a fabulous runway show in the Deer Zink Pavilion at the IMA. The dresses, hot out of their New York showroom, were nothing less than stunning! In fact, a few of them really made me consider getting married all over again (to my wonderful husband, of course). Not only were there gorgeous gowns, the food was delicious, the wine was flowing and the guests were colorful.

I was able to meet several wedding professionals that I had only spoken to over the phone, emailed or stalked on Facebook!
One of which was Jennifer Driscoll, owner of JDP. I have been lucky enough to work with her through hctBRIDE, but never had the opportunity to meet her in person. I was also introduced to her studio manager and associate photographer, Jordyn. What an awesome duo! You really must check out their website and blog to understand how truly talented these lovely ladies are!

As soon as I can, I will try to put up some of the photos from the evening. Check back soon!

Brooke + Pedro Photography

I recently discovered Brooke + Pedro Photography through a bride I had worked with earlier this year. I was checking out her wedding photos on Facebook when I saw a few of my designs. I found out who the photographer was and visited their site. I was blown away. What an amazing gallery of photos!

Brooke and her husband Pedro are an incredibly talented couple. Not only that, you can tell they have a true passion for what they do... and completely love it. Check out their blog to find out more about this wonderfully talented duo. If you're interested in working with them, email Brooke at brookeandpedro@gmail.com.

e-vents: a wedding and event planning boutique

I was recently introduced to Erika Gregory, founder of e-vents: a wedding and event planning boutique, through a bride I had been working with. What a happy accident! Shortly after the introduction, I had the pleasure of working with her at one of her Bridal Boutique - Meet the Experts Workshops. These workshops are intimate gatherings of bridal couples, their guests and wedding vendors. They are meant to assist brides and grooms make informed decisions when planning their own wedding. It's great because with smaller groups, the couples can really talk and connect with the vendors. As a vendor myself, I love the fact that I'm not only promoting my work, but I'm helping to educating these couples too.

Erika's upcoming event, The Bridal Boutique Wedding Workshop & Luncheon, will be held October 25th from 10 am–4 pm at the Hilton
Garden Inn. I highly recommend any and all newly engaged couples to attend this event. You will not only learn a lot from the vendors, but you will also take away some great ideas for your own wedding. If you are interested in registering for this workshop, visit bridalboutique.eventbrite.com.

Leslie Jones Wedding Studio

Over the past couple of years, I have had the great pleasure of working with Leslie Jones, of Leslie Jones Weddings. She is an amazing wedding planner, specializing in bringing sophistication, elegance and style to each event. I highly recommend visiting her website, www.lesliejonesweddings.com, and taking a glance at her gallery. She has worked on some really beautiful events!

Leslie also developed here comes the BRIDE (hctBRIDE), a great resource for the modern bride. hctBRIDE is a directory of inspired wedding professionals located in Indianapolis, each invited to participate based on their reputation for impeccable style, innovative spirit and integrity. I am truly lucky to be a part of such a great group of professionals!

On top of that, she is also launching Leslie Jones Wedding Studio for Birnbaum & Bullock, housed in the marketplace of the French Pharmacie in Broad Ripple. To kick off the opening, here comes the BRIDE and the network's wedding professionals, will host a runway show by Birnbaum & Bullock, couture wedding gown designers out of NYC. Finally....I've joined the blogging world!

Hello all! I finally caved and decided to start blogging. It's not that I don't enjoy writing, because I do! It's just finding the time to do it that's the problem. So, I'm going to try and stay diligent in my current mission...keeping you all updated on TEN:THIRTEEN design and maybe a little bit about myself.

Now, some of you may not be aware of how I came up with the name TEN:THIRTEEN design. The namesake was just celebrated two days ago... Yes, it's my (and Matt's) wedding date. I thought what better title to bestow upon my wedding stationery business than my own wedding date. And so it began....

To date, I've probably worked on over 25 wedding stationery packages and have already booked 6 for next year! I've definitely been keeping busy! This year, TEN:THIRTEEN design received 2nd place in the 2009 Best of TheIndyChannel.com A-List. What an accomplishment! Of course, it wouldn't have been possible without my family, friends and satisfied clients! THANK YOU!!!

Here are a few photos of my work, courtesy of Brand Photodesign.

Wow! Not too shabby for my first blog! I'll try to keep 'em coming...
